With more than 25 years of experience counseling people from all walks of life, I genuinely believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. We all deserve the opportunity to explore our past, present, and desired future in a safe and caring environment.
As a therapist, my role is to hold space for you to be deeply heard, validated, and respected, and to help you understand yourself and your needs better. I will partner with you to develop an individualized care plan and provide tools to help you achieve your goals. Together, we will work to move from a place of distress, relationship discord, or discontent to a life of greater joy, peace, purpose, and fulfillment.

As a psychotherapist, I support people in the journey to greater wellbeing. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, are seeking a deeper sense of purpose and happiness, or are seeking support for a mood disorder, an eating disorder, or a chronic illness, I can help you to find greater health, joy, and fulfillment. Often these concerns arise during moments of life transition, and I frequently work with college students and people in midlife to clarify personal direction and purpose.
I also have expertise helping people heal from stress and trauma, including people who have experienced traumatic events or moral injury as professionals, such as veterans, healthcare workers, and first responders. It can feel challenging to deal with day-to-day responsibilities while in the midst of stress or coping with the symptoms of past trauma. Together, we can address ways to set healthy boundaries, achievable goals, and work towards greater self-acceptance and improved relationships.
I provide specialized therapy, coaching, and consultation for professionals who are seeking to develop leadership skills, optimize performance, identify and reach personal and professional goals, and integrate a demanding career into a life that has meaning, purpose, and balance. In this capacity, I often work with entrepreneurs, executives, elite athletes, and other therapists.
For many of us, our partnership is one of the most important relationships in our life. It can also be one of the most vulnerable and challenging to navigate. As your therapist, I will help you work toward the growth and healing of your relationship, offering an unbiased perspective that cares for the beliefs, priorities, and needs of both partners. I will provide a safe space to explore your relationship and your feelings with your partner.
While every partnership is unique, I often support couples in: developing better communication skills, creating a more fulfilling relationship, navigating differences in parenting styles or other areas of conflict, addressing sexuality or infidelity issues, and preparing for greater commitment or even separation with respect.
I firmly believe that if each partner is committed to the principles of a healthy relationship, any relationship can thrive.
When supporting families, I seek to understand the whole picture—looking at the family “system” to understand how unique personalities, histories and norms, needs, and more come together to create the strengths and areas of growth in a family.
It is common for people to seek our individual therapy, and to discover that it would be beneficial for other family members to pursue counseling, either as individual sessions or as dyads (parent-child or partner dyads). Sometimes it is helpful for the whole family to discuss a pressing issue that is causing distress or requires new ways of being.
As your therapist, I will help you collectively work towards the greatest good of the family, and help each family member reach their personal goals of healing, joy, and wellbeing.
